On August 23, CNPC President Jiang Jiemin interviewed Prime Minister of Mongolia Sanjaagiin Bayar, who is paying a visit to China at the invitation to attend the closing ceremony of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.  They exchanged views on further oil and gas cooperation between the two countries. Finance Minister of Mongolia Ch. Ulaan, Mongolian Ambassador to China Galsan Batsukh and CNPC Assistant President Wang Dongjin attended the meeting.
