CNPC and Shell signed a framework cooperation agreement in Beijing on December 19. CNPC President Jiang Jiemin and Jeroen Van der Veer, Chief Executive of Shell, attended the signing ceremony and signed the agreement on behalf of each side. With the signing of this framework agreement, oil and gas cooperation will be further expanded and deepened between the two firms.
