Xu Wenrong, Assistant President　

Mr. Xu is a senior engineer and graduated from Huadong Petroleum University, majoring in geophysical prospecting. He has over 20 years of working experience in China's oil and gas industry.

Mr. Xu was appointed as Deputy Director of the Bureau of Geophysical Prospecting in December 1997 and Director of the Bureau in December 1999. He became Vice Chairman and President of China National Petroleum Corporation BGP in December 2002 and has been an Assistant President of CNPC since January 2004.
