On July 5, CNPC President Jiang Jiemin held talks with visiting Lieutenant General Thihathura Tin Aung Myint Oo, the First Secretary of State Peace and Development Council of Myanmar. The two sides compared notes on further oil and gas cooperation between China and Myanmar. CNPC Vice President Liao Yongyuan, Deputy Chief Financial Officer Wen Qingshan and Deputy Chief Economist Wang Lihua were present at the meeting.
