China's largest LNG dock completed in Dalian

On August 29, the 267,000 cubic meters LNG dock was completed in Dalian. This is the first LNG dock built by CNPC, also the biggest of its kind in China and the first one in the north of the country. The Dalian LNG dock has a total length of 446 meters, including a 150 meters long trestle. Construction of the dock was started on March 1, 2009.

The project was composed of a dock, receiving terminals and gas pipelines. Its maximum annual capacity is 10.5 billion cubic meters. The whole project is expected to be operational in April 2011.
