On April 27, construction of the Russian section of Russia-China Crude Pipeline was launched at a ceremony in Skovorodino, Russia's Amur region. Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Igor Sechin, CNPC Vice President Wang Dongjin, Transneft President Nikolai Tokarev, Rosneft President Sergey Bogdanchikov were present at the ceremony.

According to agreement, Russia-China Crude Pipeline within China will start in May and the construction is expected to be completed by October 2010.
