On December 28, CNPC and Beijing Municipal Government signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement, which aims at accelerating the optimization of energy consumption mix and construction process of the capital city in a low-carbon, safe, efficient and economic manner.

For years, CNPC has always been concerned about and supported the economic and social development of Beijing. We speed up the construction of the Shaan-Jing Gas Pipelines and Dagang underground gas storages, supply sufficient high-quality gas and cleaner oil products for the city. As a result, the energy consumption mix and air quality of Beijing have been significantly improved. To build Beijing an environmentally-friendly, culture-enriched and technology-empowered city, CNPC is committed to secure high quality, high efficiency, and low-carbon energy supply to Beijing.

Beijing Municipal Government promises to fulfill the framework agreement conscientiously, and will create favorable environment and conditions for the development of CNPC by improving general services and strengthening multilevel communication.
