On August 9, CNPC President Jiang Jiemin had an interview with visiting Chad's Prime Minister Youssouf Saleh Abbas, who is visiting China at the invitation to attend the opening ceremony of the Beiing 2008 Olympic Games. 

They had a talk on reinforcing cooperation in upstream business between the two countries. CNPC Assistant President Wang Dongjin attended the meeting.
