CNPC and the government of Gansu Province signed a strategic cooperation agreement at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing on December 6.

Gansu Province Party Secretary Lu Hao, Governor Xu Shousheng and CNPC President Jiang Jiemin attended the signing ceremony. CNPC Vice Presidents Wang Yinlin and Liao Yongyuan were also present.

According to the agreement, comprehensive cooperation between CNPC and Gansu Province will take place in the fields of exploration & production, refining & petrochemicals and natural gas.
