CNPC won the "People's Social Responsibility Award" for the second year running in the campaign of 2007 annual corporate social responsibility investigation sponsored by People's Daily Online on December 22.
In 2007, CNPC donated around 525 million yuan to public welfare undertakings, of which 120 million yuan went to major natural disaster relief projects.
