The CNPC Guangxi refining project was officially launched on December 30 in Qinzhou, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, involving a total investment of 15.3 billion yuan and an annual production capacity of 10 million metric tons.
The project mainly consists of solid refining & production facilities meeting advanced international standards, as well as a dedicated railway line and docks. When completed, it will supply customers in southwestern China with 7 million metric tons of light oil (gasoline and diesel) and petrochemical products (LGP and polypropylene) annually.
