In 2010, we were granted 1,701 patents out of 2,178 applications. By the end of 2009, CNPC had acquired a total of 10,485 patents out of its 14,303 applications.

CNPC has won 64 national awards since 2002, including one special award, five first-class and 53 second-class National Scientific and Technological Advancement Prizes, one second-class National Science Prize, and four second-class National Technical Invention Prizes.
