Part 1 Surface Tools 1. Elevator links Elevator link is used to link up hook and elevator to hoist drill string, casing and tubing during tripping in drilling or completion operation. Model DH weldless link is one-piece forged special alloy steel with high strength and toughness. They are suitable for deep well drilling operation. Model SH link is made of high-grade alloy steel with good mechanical properties, which is suitable for shallow well drilling operation. Both types of elevator links are well heat-treated and special surface treated, and receive strict nondestructive inspection. They have the features of abrasion resistance, long service life and safe and easy operation. Elevator links are API monogrammed. ● Model DH Weldless Links Specifications Model | DH900 | DH750 | DH500 | DH350 | DH250 | DH150 | DH75 | DH50 | DH40 | Rated load of a pair kN (US tons) | 8, 100 (900) | 6, 750 (750) | 4, 500 (500) | 3, 150 (350) | 2, 250 (250) | 1, 350 (150) | 675 (75) | 450 (50) | 360 (40) |

2. Elevators Elevator is used to hold drill string or casing and tubing for tripping during drilling, completion or workover operations. Elevator is forged or cast with high-grade alloy steel, and receives heat treatment. The main parts of elevator have been inspected by nondestructive test. The elevator is simple and sturdy, safe and easy to operate and is featured with high abrasive resistance and light weight. Model CD side open double latches elevator is suitable for 90-degree shouldered drill pipe, casing and tubing. Model CDZ side open latch dog elevator is suitable for 18-dregee shouldered drill pipe. DD center latch 90-degree shouldered elevator is suitable for 90-degree shouldered drill pipe and tubing. DDZ center latch elevator is suitable for 18-degree shouldered drill pipe. Sucker rod elevator is used to hoist the sucker rod or tubing for tripping during workover operations.

3. Manual Tongs The manual tongs is used to make up and break out thread connections of drill string, casing and tubing by manual operation during drilling or workover. The tong is constructed with lug jaws, pins and a long arm. The tong handling size can be altered through the change of lugs or pin position. All main parts of the manual tong are cast with special alloy steel with vacuum method, and receive heat treatment. The tong is featured with light weight, high toughness, strength, and torque rating and wide applicable range. It is reliable and easy to operate. ● Manual Tong Specifications Model

4. Slips The slip is designed to hold drilling string (or casing and tubing) in the bowl and master bushing in the rotary table opening, for makeup or break out the thread connections of drill string (or casing and tubing). Three models of slips are available. Model W Rotary slip is used for drill pipe Model WT is used for drill collar Model WG is used for casing According to the insert length contacting with the drill pipe and rated load, three grades of Model W rotary slips are available: 200T, 125T, and 75T, to meet the need of tripping with different well depth. Each model of rotary slip can be used for three sizes of drill pipes by changing slip inserts.

Note: If the size of the casing slip is bigger than 8-5/8 inches, the relevant master bushing shall be chosen. 5. Safety Clamps The safety clamp is used to firmly grip around the drill collar or other non-shouldered tools at the upper part to form a flange ring for preventing the drill collar or other tools sliding off through the opening of the slips and falling down to the well bore during tripping. The clamp must be taken off soon after the connection of the drill collar and upper string are completed. Never lower the clamp into the wellbore with string. The number of grip chain links can be altered to fit drill collars or other tools with different size.

7. Kelly Roller Bushings The kelly roller bushing is designed for holding the kelly and matching with the master bushing, to drive the kelly rotation by the four rollers in bushing. The roller can reduce friction against kelly and prolong the service life of kelly. For different shapes of the kelly (square or hexagonal), different rollers are available. The kelly roller bushings are suitable for 17-1/2-49-1/2 inches rotary tables. They are designed and manufactured according to API 7K.

12. Pneumatic Spinners Pneumatic spinner is used in tripping operation to spin the stand or single of drill pipe swiftly by air power, and to connect with the tool joint on the upper end of drill string, and then the spinner is tightened by rotary tong to complete the make-up. In disconnecting the drill pipe from drill string, the spinner spins off the stand which is just loosened by the rotary tong to complete the breakout. The tool can increase efficiency of tripping and reduce labor intensity. ● Pneumatic Spinner Specifications Model
