Introduction Drilling, workover and production tools are designed for hanging or holding the drilling string (workover and production string) on the drilling floor or joining up with the strings to meet the different requirements of drilling and production. Since 1980´s the Chinese oil well drilling, workover and production tool manufacturers have made great efforts to upgrade their equipment and to establish quality assurance system. They have established cooperation with many foreign companies, importing new technology and equipment and founding joint ventures. Through years of hard work, most of their products have been API licensed and been exported to North America, the Middle East, CIS and Southeast Asia. CPTDC can also provide all kinds of drill bits including roller cone bits, diamond bits, mining bits and engineering bits, which have novel structures and suitable for various formations. Most of the Chinese manufacturers of bits are equipped with numerically-controlled and specialized equipment and possess advanced technology such as flexible manufacturing system (FMS) and heat treatment technology with nitrogen base controllable atmosphere. They have established mature quality assurance system which is API or ISO 9001 certified and their products are API monogrammed. CPTDC has provided the China-made drill bits to Europe, USA, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and CIS.
