On June 22, 2011, Li Jianguo, the Vice President of CPTDC, attended the First Well Completion Ceremony of Desert Fast-moving Rig Project held by Abu Dhabi National Drilling Company (hereinafter referred to as “NDC”). Chinese commercial counselor to UAE, leaders of CNPC Middle East Technical Service Coordination Team and leaders of Baoji Oil Machinery Factory also attended the ceremony.
The ceremony was held at 10 a.m. at the NDC rig commissioning base. President of Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations (hereinafter referred to as “ADCO”) and president of NDC delivered a speech respectively, giving high compliments on the achievements we made in this project, expressing sincere thanks to the comprehensive and high-quality service we provided for NDC, and expressing their confidence in the further cooperation of petroleum machinery trade and oil development service between China and Abu Dhabi. At the end of the speech, they awarded trophy to our company and Baoji Oil Machinery Factory for celebration.
Wang Baoji, the vice director of CNPC Middle East Technical Service Coordination Team was also invited to deliver a speech. Firstly, he expressed thanks to ADNOC (Abu Dhabi National Oil Company), ADCO and NDC for their trust and support, and to the staff of both parties for their hard work in ensuring the successful performance of the project. Meanwhile, he indicated that CPTDC is the window for export of materials and equipment of CNPC and has the manufacturing network of CNPC and rich experience in project management. The successful performance of NDC Desert Fast-moving Rig Project indicated that there is good cooperative foundation and mutual trust between the two parties. Therefore, CNPC will continue to make use of its resource advantage and take CPTDC as the window for export, cooperate with ADNOC on various projects in a more thorough and widely way. The successful performance of the NDC Desert Fast-moving Rig Project is both the milestone of two parties’ cooperation and the good starting point of future cooperation. CNPC has the confidence and ability to provide better services for ADNOC.
At the end of the ceremony, leaders of both parties visited the rig site together, and the Vice President Li Jianguo made a cordial talk with the major leaders of NDC. Both parties exchanged opinions on the subsequent performance of this project and reached consensus on further cooperation.
