During July 1-8, Li Wei, Secretary of the Party Committee, paid on-site work visit to Russian Office, accompanied by Liu Wei, president of CIS Branch Company.
During his stay in Russia, Mr. Li extended sincere regards to all the Chinese staff of the Russian Office, and debriefed on the work report and development plan presented by the Russian Office.
After the report, Mr. Li firstly extended sincere regards to all the staff working overseas on the frontline, expressed understanding with respect to the difficulties in Russian market development, and gave great compliments on the work accomplished by the Russian Office. He also pointed out that Russian market has great potential and development prospects, and put forward expectations for all the staff to set up lofty ideals, reinforce confidence, make unremitting efforts and shoulder the heavy responsibility in Russian market development. At last, Mr. Li gave important instructions for future work of Russian market development: enhance the localization of working staff, select and employ the working staff properly to realize the management mode of an internationalized company; aim at the market, make resolute decisions and strengthen the platform construction of consignment storehouse and joint ventures plants, etc.; transform the development strategy, extend the development modes and promote diversified marketing patterns; strengthen project key points control and enhance the capability of risk prevention and control, attach importance to corporate culture construction and pay attention to both physical and mental health of the overseas personnel.
During his visit in Russia, Mr. Li also met with leaders and colleagues from CNPC Foreign Affairs Bureau, China National United Oil Corporation and CNODC, etc.
