From October 24 to 25, the further discussion meeting on Maersk deepwater drilling unit project was held in CPTDC. The leaders and other representatives from CPTDC and Maersk Drilling attended the meeting.

Both parties made further communications and negotiations on the cooperation of deepwater drilling unit project on the meeting. The Maersk representatives together with members of CPTDC conducted further technical discussion and study on this project with the representatives from domestic renowned shipping enterprises.

The meeting has promoted the cooperation between CPTDC and Maersk, and provided CPTDC with more first-hand knowledge on the resources information and capacity of domestic shipyards. It laid a good foundation for future marine engineering projects.
