The joint venture was established by Baoji Petroleum Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. and Malaysia UMW. In which BSG owns 51%, Malaysia owns 49%. BSW has 2 Spiral Submerged Arc Welded pipe production lines and 1 external coating production line. It can produce the SSAW pipes with diameter from O.D.323mm to O.D.1420mm, wall thickness from 5.6mm to 20.6mm; the highest grade can be up to X80. The annual SSAW pipe capacity is 250,000 tons and pipe coating is 1,500,000 square meters.
