Zhongyou BSS (Qinhuangdao) Petropipe Co Ltd is a Sino-Malaysia Joint Venture between Baoji Petroleum Steel Pipe Co Ltd and UMW Petropipe (L) Co Ltd. It is an integration of modern steel pipe and coating manufacturing enterprise.

The company is situated at Qinhuangdao Economic& Technological Development Zone, with Yanshan at the north, Bohai at the south, connected to Shenyang and Liaoning at the east, and close proximity to Beijing and Tianjin at the west. It is well located at the most developmental potential Bohai Economic Centre which lies in between Northeastern and North China economic districts.

It is very convenient in logistics that the distance between major raw materials suppliers such as Shougang Steel Qinhuangdao, Shougang Steel Qian An, Angang Steel and Benxi Steel are respectively 50km,120km and 300km, which facilitate the supply of raw materials in terms of speed. The company is close to major railway yard of Beijing-Shenyang, and Beijing-Qinhuangdao, and is only 20 km from Qinhuangdao seaport. It is connected with Beijing-Shenyang Highway, and only a stone throw away from Qinhuangdao airport. Hence it is very well connected by roads, railways and seaport.

The company possesses one of the most advanced state of the art JCOE LSAW production line, the leading technology within China of two-step welding SSAW production line, two internal and external coating production lines, and one bending pipe production line. The annual production capacity is over 200,000 MT of LSAW pipes, over 200,000 MT of SSAW pipes, over 3000 pieces of bend pipes, and over 3.6 million ㎡ of internal and external coating.
