BSS was grandly opened on 5th June, 2009 by Najib Razak, the Prime Minister of Malaysia and Li Xinhua, vice-general manager of China National Petroleum Corporation, who were present at the ribbon cutting ceremony together with more than 800 distinguished guests from home and abroad together witnessed a modern, properly planned world-class and high-tech welded pipe manufacturing enterprise that had been established and commenced operation at Bohai Sea coast and under the foot of the Great Wall.
On June 20th 2009, Mr. Wen Jiabao, the CPC Central Committee Political Bureau Standing Committee and the Premier came to inspect Zhongyou BSS (Qinhuangdao) Petropipe Co., Ltd. and extended his warmest regards to the cadres and staff.

Integrated pipe milling, coating and pipe bending, BSS possesses one of the most advanced LSAW steel pipe production line imported from Germany, one large diameter SSAW pipe production line with the most up-to–date two-step arc welding technology leading the world, two properly planned and technologically advanced internal and external coating line and one pipe bending fabricating line that come with one coating line.
JCOE Production Line
JCOE Production Line is one of the most advanced LSAW steel pipe production line in the world, it possesses LSAW Form Press machine supplied by SMS-Meer from Germany, a five-wire internal cum external welding set of machinery equipment supplied by U&S from Germany. The products are all of high strength, premium quality and large diameter that are mainly used for the transmission of oil and gas, and some other purposes, they all comply with API5L, ISO3183 and GB/T9711 standards and specification, and are able to meet any additional technical requirements of end users. The annual production capacity is 200,000 MT.
Two-Step Arc welding line
The two-step arc welding set of machinery equipments is supplied by W+K of Germany. Presently, this is the leading technology for producing spiral pipes in the world. It innovates on the traditional one-step process, which combining of forming and welding, into two steps process that enhanced the production efficiency and quality. The products could meet the standards and specifications of API Spec5L, GB/T9711 and ISO3183 and any additional technical requirements of end users. Its annual production capacity is over 200,000 MT.
Internal & External Coating Production Line
The company possesses two sets of properly planned, technologically advanced internal and external coating production line that adopts advanced dual-blasting technology with high automation system. The total annual coating capacity of the two coating lines is more than 3.6 million sqm.
Bending Pipe Production line
Integrated with the most advanced technology and automation engineering, the bending pipe line adopts medium frequency induction heating technique, which is the most progressive technical process for bending pipes with large diameter and thick-wall. The products are of high quality, accuracy bending angle and radius, and well-shaped appearance. The line production capacity is around 3000 pieces.

After normal operation, we supplied premium steel pipe for the 2nd Gas Transmission pipeline Project from West to East in China, Sino-Russia Oil Transmission Project, Pipeline from Daqing to Tieling Project in China, Qinhuangdao to Shenyang Transmission Project and the branch of West to East Pipeline. The steel pipe manufactured by BSS reaches as far as the most eastern area Mohe, the most western area Xinjiang, moreover, the reputed steel pipe also applied in each important pipeline all over China as if drawing a beautiful rainbow connecting each energy source together. BSS devotes itself to the development of oil and natural gas industry.
In the first year of normal operation, BSS was awarded as Advanced Collectives of 2nd line of West to East Natural Gas Transmission Project by CNPC, Advanced Primary Party Organization of Qinhuangdao City and the only wining unit of BSG Company in the activity of “Five Compares and one Look”.
