Baoji Oilfield Machinery Co., Ltd (BOMCO), as the leading enterprise of R&D and manufacture of oil drilling and production equipment in China, is the earliest established, largest and most powerful oil drilling and production equipment developer and manufacturer under CNPC, the largest research and production base of land rigs and series mud pumps in the world, and also the largest and most powerful base for R&D and production of wire ropes for special purposes in China.
BOMCO is reorganized in 2002 on the former Baoji Petroleum Machinery Manufacturing Plant (BPMMP) which was founded in 1937. Through 74 years’ development, BOMCO now is the largest oilfield equipment manufacturer under CNPC and also the largest research and production base of land rigs and series mud pumps in the world. BOMCO has 11 functional departments, 15 divisions and 20 subsidiaries in which three wholly-owned subsidiaries including Baoji BOMCO Special Vehicle Co., Ltd., Xianyang-BOMCO Petroleum Steel Tube & Wire Rope Co., Ltd. and Chengdu Equipment Manufacturing Company of BOMCO and three share-holding subsidiaries including Bomay Electric Industries Co., Ltd., BOMCO Electric Equipment Co., Ltd., and Beijing BOMCO-MH Offshore Oil Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. are included. BOMCO has 8238 employees of which 319 are senior engineers and 94 are with master’s degree or doctor’s degree. BOMCO covers and area of 2,900,000 square meters including construction area of 430,000 square meters. With total assets of 8,813 Million RMB and more than 4300 sets of various production equipments, BOMCO has a turnover of more than 6 billion RMB every year.
BOMCO can produce drilling and production equipments including land rigs ranging from 1000 meters to 12000 meters in drilling depth with four types of drive modes, various series of mud pumps from 500 HP to 3000 HP, offshore drilling and production platforms, wellhead and well control equipment, special vehicles, wire ropes and steel tubes, roller bits with large diameter and electric control systems, coal mine machinery, etc. The products with nearly 1,000 sizes for over 50 kinds are produced here for onshore, offshore and overseas customers. With 15 API licenses covering 76 kinds of products, BOMCO is the company with most API Licenses in the world.
BOMCO is a leading worldwide provider of highly engineered drilling and well-servicing equipments, products and services to the exploration and production segments of the oil and gas industry. BOMCO trademark has been registered in 21 countries and BOMCO products have been exported to more than 50 countries and regions worldwide.
BOMCO has complete after-sales service system. More than 500 sets of BOMCO drilling rigs were exported to international clients or operated by Chinese drilling companies outside of China and all these drilling rigs are working very well. We also have engineers ready for site assistance according to customers’ requirements. We collect information of our sold products periodically and have rich experience in product support.
